TechCentral.ie was redeveloped recently for optimised display across desktop, tablet and smartphone screens.

Now, the website’s daily news digest Today’s Technology Minute has had a similar refit: readers who browse their emails on smartphones will see an optimised version of the daily service.

“Every month, our mobile traffic is growing,” notes TechCentral publisher Frank Quinn, “so it makes sense to offer our readers the best possible reading experience on phone screens, without the pinching and zooming exercise common in reading e-mails on phones. The website’s redesign has been well received; updating its outbound e-mail component will add to its appeal for time-pressed readers.”

Today’s Technology Minute is designed to be scanned in 60 seconds, summarising key tech stories of the day with links to their detail in TechCentral.ie.
