TechElevate training programme open for second round of entries
The TechElevate digital training programme is currently open for applications from eligible jobseekers in Cork, Dublin and Limerick.
The programme has been specifically designed to help eligible jobseekers gain ICT industry-recognised certification, combining Digital Skills Academy certification accredited by Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) with Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certifications, designed to validate core technical knowledge and enhance technical credibility.
TechElevate also provides a 12-week work placement within an ICT company to help participants break into career roles such as Web developer, cloud systems and network administrator, IT technical sales executive and IT project manager.
This programme’s first run resulted in a 65% success rate in returning participants to the workplace within four months of completion.
The course is an on-campus blended learning programme delivered over 32 weeks. Making use of the latest in learning technologies, successful graduates achieve a DIT Level 6 Higher Education Award and Microsoft MTA certification.
Participants study digital industry; entrepreneurship & innovation; and project management & self-employment business skills. Additional specialisms include Web development & coding; IT cloud operations; technology project management, and IT & cloud sales.
