Sky is marking the start of its 2014 season of original programming with the launch of a new YouTube channel: Sky First Episodes.
From Saturday 1 February views will be able to watch the first episodes of the broadcaster’s slate of productions, including Moone Boy, The Tunel, Moonfleet and A Young Doctor’s Notebook for free. More shows will be added regularly over the coming months.
Mark Anderson, Sky Ireland director of sales & marketing said: “We’re passionate about delivering truly great TV to our customers in Ireland – and the best way of demonstrating this is to give them the opportunity to enjoy the shows for themselves. The combination of Sky First Episodes and a TV campaign featuring entire clips from our biggest and best series means that now everyone has the chance to sample Sky shows.”
Sky has committed to investing €700 million in original content across its four entertainment channels, Sky One, Sky Arts, Sky Living, and Sky Atlantic in 2014.
