With the Samsung Galaxy Ring, a new wearable will soon hit the market. It is a light and compact ring equipped with many sensors to monitor your health. However, the Galaxy Ring is not available in Belgium for the time being.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring varies in weight, from two to three grams and is waterproof. The battery lasts seven days and with the included case that you can fully charge. To use the ring, you need a Samsung Galaxy smartphone with Android 11.0 or higher and at least 1.5 GB of memory.

The ring is ideal for 24/7 health monitoring in the free platform Samsung Health with the help of Galaxy AI. The most important monitoring revolves around your sleep, which is subjected to a thorough sleep analysis.

AI provides insight into your sleep patterns and helps you get into better habits.

Your Sleep Score is calculated based on snoring analysis, movement during sleep, sleep latency and heart and respiratory rate.

Other features include Cycle Tracking, which helps keep track of your menstrual cycle by monitoring skin temperature at night.

Energy Score uses AI to provide insights and recommendations about your energy levels. Wellness Tips also helps you improve your overall well-being. This tool does that with personalised messages.

With Heart Rate Alert and Live Heart Rate Check, your heart rate is constantly monitored. Auto Workout Detection automatically records all your moves, while Inactiv alerts you when it’s time to move. Special gestures allow you to use specific functions of the Galaxy Ring.

Although the Samsung Galaxy Ring was presented at Galaxy Unpacked in Paris, the device will not yet be immediately available in Belgium.
