Salesforce Innovation Day discusses value of agented AI
Salesforce customers converged on Innovation Day in Salesforce Tower on Dublin’s quays for a showcase of artificial intelligence agent development platform, Agentforce.
The event saw representatives from 150 customers develop AI agents without the need for coding skills.
Low-code/no-code agents empower businesses to implement technology that takes action on the customer’s behalf.
UCD has been using Agentforce to engage with prospective students by allowing them to interact with the university whenever they want, freeing up staff time to work on other recruitment activities and more specialised engagement with students.
Mark Lande, director of Enterprise Applications at University College Dublin (UCD), said: “UCD is a trailblazer and will be the first Salesforce customer in Ireland to leverage Agentforce to enhance engagement with our customers – that is, our prospective students. Autonomous agents are a potential game changer in the Higher Education sector, enabling us to automate processes and enhance experiences for both students and staff.”
Gavin Killen, director of digital at Bord Gáis Energy, discussed how the organisation was using AI to engage with customers by “unifying customer data, streamlining workflows, and enhancing digital engagement.”
He added: “We’re now able to deliver personalised experiences and targeted campaigns that boost customer satisfaction and efficiency.”
