As the trend towards new and better forms of customer engagement gains momentum, Sage has announced that it has embarked on an ambitious plan to establish a network of customer business centres (CBC) around the world which it says will fundamentally change the way it supports customers.

The first such centre has been opened in Atlanta, Georgia, while the second, in Dublin, is set to be opened in the coming months to serve the European market.

Sage said that the opening is “the first step in a journey to building deeper, life-long relationships with customers globally”. New CBCs will be eventually cover North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, housing teams for marketing, lead qualifications, sales, service and renewals in one place, with a combined focus on providing high levels of service to customers. Working on the Salesforce1 platform, the teams will collaborate to ensure customers have a superior experience at all stages of engagement.

“This is about bringing a whole new philosophy to the way we support customers so we can build relationships for life,” said Alan Laing, executive vice president, Global Strategic Partnerships and Alliances, Sage, and leader of the CBC project. “It also shows how far we are going to reimagine the entire Sage experience. With products like Sage Life set to revolutionise the way that businesses work, we knew we needed to rethink the relationships we have with our customers. The CBCs will change everything, giving customers the support they need, every step of the way.”

The company said that recruitment will commence shortly for positions in the Dublin CBC.
