Qualcom has secured a contract to provide a comprehensive range of IT managed services and professional services to Pepper Asset Servicing. The deal is worth €500,000 and will see three on-site engineers supporting Pepper’s 170 staff.

Qualcom supported the migration of Pepper’s IT infrastructure out of GE Capital Ireland to two new locations in Dublin and Shannon, and is providing managed services to the business.

Darren Delaney, IT infrastructure manager, Pepper Asset Servicing, said: “The technical team in Qualcom, including the senior management, are very accessible at all times and have immersed themselves in our organisation, to become an integral part of our IT team. With a growing business we are always on the lookout for new projects and developments that will help us drive the company forward.”

Ken Breen, managing director, Qualcom, said: “We are continuously investing in our managed services offering to ensure our customers, such as Pepper, can concentrate on their core business, while we look after the reliability and availability of their IT infrastructure. More and more of our customers are looking to benefit from these outsourced IT managed services as a cost effective means of protecting their IT investment.”
