OKI and Toshiba agree joint product development deal

OKI Data Corporation and Toshiba Tec Corporation have announced the conclusion of an agreement to jointly develop multifunction products (MFPs) incorporating print, copy, scan and fax capabilities.

"To continue to quickly adapt to our customer MPS needs we need increasingly sophisticated hardware and Open Platform solutions", said Martin Deignan, OKI director of sales and marketing in Ireland. "The new technology swap alliance with Toshiba gives us the ability to speed up introductions while minimising the development period and cost."
