The Tech Excellence Awards return to the Royal Marine Hotel on 25 May 2023. In this snapshot of winners from 2022 we look at IT professionals recognised for being at the top of the game.

CIO of the year: Cathal Lynch, RSA Insurance Ireland DAC

Presented by John Delves, Magnet+

During the pandemic Lynch proved himself to be an inspiring leader.

At a time when leaders across the globe were being tested, he managed to pull the RSA Insurance team together to be resilient in tough times with empathy and compassion, he was genuine in his communications and style and made himself available to be as supportive as possible to all his colleagues.
