Microchip Technology Vice President EMEA, Michael Malinas commented, “We’ve invested heavily in Ireland in recent years, as evidenced by the establishment of our $20 million development centre in Cork in 2021.  We’re also committed to supporting and developing our people, in order to make Microchip a desirable employer, as well as a great place to work.”

Microchip operates multiple sites across Dublin, Cork, Ennis, Meath and Belfast, with the team having grown rapidly in recent years. The Cork development centre alone has already become a world-leading centre of semiconductor knowledge and expertise and is expected to continuously grow its workforce.

“One of the Guiding Values at Microchip is “Employees Are Our Greatest Strength,” we   provide our employees with the tools they need to empower them to create innovated solutions for our customers, not just in Ireland, but around the world” continued Malinas, “I’m delighted that our efforts to that effect have once again been recognised and validated by independent sources. To build a thriving company you need a thriving culture, and retaining our position in the top 20 demonstrates not only that we’re achieving what we set out to, but also that the work never stops in fostering an environment in which our employees can thrive.”
