There, Kazazz led a team of over 50 developers, software engineers, and systems engineers in delivering cutting-edge telephony technology for the provider. He introduced a successful B2B service and launched a White Label service for telephony partners, across Europe, the US, and Asia, significantly growing the company’s partner channel, helping to transform the company into a global telephony platform. Kazazz also played a pivotal role in negotiating the company’s 2020 acquisition by Comcast, departing the company shortly after the completion of the sale.

In addition to his industry roles, Nameer also chaired the Fixed Number Portability (FNP) steering committee, overseeing the development of FNP business rules and the Industry Process Manual (IPM). Kazazz also created a system to audit and repair the central fixed number database, achieving a 98% routing accuracy – still benefiting the industry today.

“We are delighted to announce that Nameer is joining our organisation to help drive technical improvements. With extensive expertise in the telecoms sector, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skills that will greatly enhance our capabilities and support our continued growth,” said Brian Chamberlain, CTO and founder of IP Telecom.

Kazazz brings a wealth of knowledge and fresh insight to IP Telecom’s offerings, enabling it to provide its customers with cutting-edge and market-leading services. The appointment of one of the leading architects of VoIP-based communications to the IP Telecom team will allow for a considerable ratcheting up of the product and services stack within the IP Telecom ecosystem and Kazazz’s expertise will help drive developments in this area to the next level, delivering systems and solutions, new to the Irish market.

Kazazz said: “I am thrilled to join IP Telecom and help contribute to the company’s mission of delivering innovative telecom solutions for its customers. Working with tech enthusiasts, like Brian, who is as dedicated to advancing telecom solutions as I am will be incredibly rewarding. I’m confident that together we can drive innovation and continue to help to bring Ireland’s telecommunications into the future.”

The Irish-owned telecoms business has experienced significant growth this year following an injection from development capital of €6 million in late 2023, aiding the company expansion in the Irish market.

Furthermore, IP Telecom successfully acquired Centrecom Systems Limited in March of this year, bolstering its position as a major player in the telecom industry.

Established in 2010 by Shena Brien, the CEO, and Brian Chamberlain, CTO, IP Telecom serves a wide range of industries, including retail, agricultural, technology, IoT, education, and transportation & logistics. IP Telecom prides itself in serving companies of all sizes in Ireland with state-of-the-art communication solutions and is the leading VoIP service provider in Dublin.
