    DeeptechFest

    Planetary health and women’s wellbeing will be top of the agenda when entrepreneurs and investors gather to innovate, speculate and accumulate at DeeptechFest Ireland, which returns to Republic of Work at the end of this month. The co-working space, which was recently listed in the top 50 of Europe’s best start-up hubs by The Financial Times, will host the event for the third time and showcase the latest in groundbreaking research and breakthrough technologies, examining their potential to profoundly reshape industries, economies and societies.

    DeeptechFest 2025 kicks off on 26 March with a pre-event workshop, networking and startup pitches followed by a full-day conference. The event will feature two keynote speakers and three key panels exploring how deeptech can shape a healthier planet and improve human wellbeing. The event also aims to uncover and develop opportunities for deeptech investment in Ireland and across Europe, and a number of sessions will take place to outline the funding opportunities available, with presentations from Health Innovation Hub Ireland and EU funding experts FundtoInnovate.

    This year’s LEAD forum will bring together L&D leaders from across Ireland’s corporate sector, attracting key players from Finance, Insurance, IT, Health, and Construction to discuss the future of upskilling in Ireland.  

    Attendees will hear from Amy O’Hanlon, an expert on human resource management and from Antionio Palacios, chief product & technology officer, UCD Professional Academy who will outline innovations within short-form learning which respond to market demands for upskilling. UCD Professional Academy, in collaboration with its corporate partners following the inaugural LEAD Forum in 2024, continues to build training experiences which address the pressing challenges faced by employers and employees seeking effective upskilling within demanding work environments.
