The price of energy consumption and sustainability credentials are playing an increasing role in decisions over the retention of cloud partners, the next TechFire webinar in association with NTT Data this Wednesday morning will hear.

Exploring the burning question ‘Do you have an open relationship with your cloud partner’, attendees will be asked how sustainability is impacting their choice of vendors.

“Sustainability is rapidly moving up the chain of importance in IT,” explained TechCentral.ie editor and TechFire host Niall Kitson. “We know from past events that the commercial and moral imperatives are slowly coming into alignment. Michael O’Reilly, CTO EMEA of NTT Data, and Ronan Hughes, principal architect for core banking at Bank of Ireland will be on hand to discuss their views on the issue of sustainability.
