Codec continues expansion with London office
Cloud solutions consultancy Codec has launched an expansion programme that will create 65 new jobs in Ireland and sees the opening of a new office in the UK this week.
The new premises in London will enable Codec to hire a further 100 people by 2025, bringing total employment at the company to over 465 Microsoft Cloud professionals.
The move will allow Codec to grow its presence in the British market and enable the company to capitalise on its expanding customer base.
The expansion is being supported by Enterprise Ireland, who are backing the investment through its company development funding scheme. The partnership demonstrates the collaborative efforts between Codec and Enterprise Ireland to drive economic development and job creation across Ireland and internationally.
Recruitment has already commenced with a range of highly skilled roles available in Ireland including project managers, IT services consultants and technical support positions.
Codec CEO Ronan Stafford said: “We continue to experience significant growth in all our markets and are delighted to be announcing today the creation of these new roles to support our expansion. For nearly forty years Codec has been leading the way in Business Applications and today’s announcements demonstrates our continued commitment to growth and innovation. With this expansion, we aim to strengthen our reach domestically and internationally as we continue delivering exceptional solutions to our valued customers across the Island of Ireland and the UK. We are looking forward to our future, one that fosters collaboration, drives innovation, and propels us towards new success in Ireland and internationally.”
“Enterprise Ireland’s mission is to partner with innovative Irish businesses with the drive and ambition to scale,” said Leo Clancy, CEO, Enterprise Ireland. “Codec is an Irish Technology company with global ambition, partnering with Microsoft and organisations in the public and healthcare sectors both in Ireland and across international markets. Today’s announcement is testament to the ambition and capabilities of the company and we at Enterprise Ireland are proud to be backing this exciting phase in the company’s development, supporting the creation of new highly skilled jobs operating from Codec’s Dublin headquarters.”
