Blueface launches mobile payments solution with SumUp

Cloud telephony company Blueface has entered into a partnership with mobile payments solution provider SumUp. The strategic partnership allows Blueface to provide businesses with mobile, landline and payment solutions in one unified offering.

A Blueface-branded payment device is now available to SMEs in Ireland, the UK and Italy.

The card reader works by connecting to an iOS, or Android devices via the audio jack and is controlled by a free app.

SumUp is authorised as a Payment Institution by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and is Europay, MasterCard, Visa (EMV) and PCI-DSS certified, ensuring that payments are processed with the highest security standards for card payments. A secure data connection is made via AES 128- and RSA 2048-bit encryption. The system monitors all transactions and filters out suspected fraud.
