Apple confirms US launch date for Vision Pro headset

The Vision Pro, Apple’s AR/VR glasses, will be available at all Apple Store locations in the United States starting Friday, 2 February. Pre-orders will be available starting Friday, 19 January.

Vision Pro costs $3,499 with 256GB of storage. Spectacle wearers must purchase separate lenses. Zeiss optical inserts are available starting at $99.

Apple says Vision Pro comes with a Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band, “giving users two options for the fit that best suits them”.

Apple Vision Pro also includes a Light Seal, two Light Seal cushions, an Apple Vision Pro Cover for the front of the device.

For now, the glasses will only be for sale the US. Apple has said only that other countries will come later in 2024, presumably English-speaking countries and China.
