Anglo Irish banks on SQS services

Ireland’s third largest bank has contracted Software Quality Systems (SQS) to provide a range of testing services. The contract with Anglo Irish Bank runs for12 months. Its value has not been disclosed.

SQS has continuously assisted AIB with banking software projects in recent years. The new deal sees it providing a team to help the bank implement key banking technology projects.

David Cotterell, CEO of SQS UK & Ireland, said: “Clearly we’re delighted that AIB selected SQS, placing high weighting on the value of independent software testing.”

AIB’s head of QA, Fergal O’Riordan, added: “We need to ensure high quality of our business solutions to support the bank’s successful performance. SQS offers innovative project quality assurance approaches together with experienced professional testing consultants to help with business-critical projects.”
