Commtech to distribute PernixData FVP in Ireland

California-based PernixData has appointed Commtech as distributor for it’s Flash Virtulisation Platform (FVP) software in Ireland.

Commtech will incorporate PernixData’s FVP as part of a ‘disruptive storage’ solution, for virtual data centers.

As part of the relationship, Commtech and PernixData will co-invest in technical support staff, sales and market development activities to facilitate the adoption of Flash virtualisation software throughout the country.

Commtech is based in Dublin and has a subsidiary in Surrey. Its existing client list includes EMC, Veeam, McAfee, Dell Software and Brocade.
