  Techies Go Green Live

  Techies Go Green, a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting sustainability within the tech sector and across all businesses, will hold its inaugural Techies Go Green Live event at the Guinness Enterprise Centre on 17th October 2024. It is anticipated that 100 attendees will be at the one-day event, which will explore actionable strategies to help businesses enhance their sustainability practices and reduce carbon footprints.

  As part of this, renowned environmental activist and economist Paul Hawken will share transformative insights on how business and sustainability can coexist effectively. Sessions throughout the day will explore how organisations can develop an industry-specific climate action plan and foster a culture of sustainability. This will see a wide variety of topics discussed such as ethical finance, carbon auditing, data management, circular economics, and sustainability from a legal perspective.

  Data Edge, the leading Irish network and application performance management company, will host a free workshop covering the full capabilities of the latest Anritsu Site Master technology.

  The workshop will provide attendees with the potential to master the full extent of the instrument – including covering the spectrum analyser function, essential for understanding the surrounding frequency environment. They will also have the opportunity to learn about how accurate measurements can help validate and troubleshoot cable and antenna installations, whether for new site setups or ongoing maintenance.

  The event is being co-hosted by Anritsu, a global provider of innovative communications Test and Measurement solutions for more than 125 years. Paul Phelan, CEO of Data Edge, will be opening up the day with a welcome presentation, followed by a series of presentations from Anritsu’s Paul Holes.
