Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), in partnership with EMC, has developed one year add-on courses for Computer Science graduates on cloud computing.
The courses will comprise a masters and an undergraduate degree programme in cloud computing that will be delivered remotely or on campus, with 20 Masters Degree places initially commencing in September 2011. However demand is expected to grow significantly and there are already plans afoot to expand the programme in anticipation.
The MSc Degree and BSc (Hons) Degree in cloud computing “aim to provide graduates with the advanced conceptual understanding, detailed factual knowledge, and specialist technical skills required for successfully delivering Cloud Computing”, said a statement from EMC.
The statement went on to say that the courses will also equip students to meet the challenges associated with the rapidly changing IT industry.
