    Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)

    BSI Espion, Sandyford, Dublin 18

    The CIPT credential shows you’ve got the knowledge to build your organisation’s privacy structures from the ground up. With regulators worldwide calling for tech professionals to factor data privacy into their products and services, the job market for privacy-trained IT pros has never been stronger.

    BSI Espion’s 2 day CIPT course consists of one day foundation of data protection, followed by a second day which will build on this knowledge and focus in on the need of privacy in the IT environment and train people in the necessary steps to take in order to implement the correct privacy techniques into an organisations IT infrastructure.

    When you earn a CIPT credential, it means you’ve gained a foundational understanding of both broad global concepts of privacy and data protection law and practice, plus you have the knowledge of these componenets within your concentration;

    – Jurisdictional laws, regulations and enforcement models, or rules and standards
    – Essential privacy concepts and principals
    – Legal requirements for handling and transferring data

    The IAPP CIPT certification is built on top of the Foundation program, which covers global,elementary privacy concepts. To become CIPT certified, you’ll need to pass the CIPT exam which is compiled of both global privacy concepts from the foundation course and then the concentrated CIPT concepts.
