    Bringing Together IT Asset Management & IT Security Among Major Focuses of Event

    The International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers (IAITAM) will hold its 2015 annual autumn conference and exhibition (ACE) on 1-2 September in Dublin, Ireland.  Attendees will learn best practices, tips and tools related to the industry’s biggest challenges, including data breaches, costly audits, and more.

    The IAITAM 2015 Fall ACE will be held at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin, Ireland, Northwood Park, Santry, Dublin 9.  For more information on the conference, go to bit.ly/2015FallACE

    The IAITAM European ACE will offer attendees access to a global professional network of leading experts and key leaders on a set of issues at both the centre and frontiers of IT Asset Management. Examples of major conference panels and presentations include:

    * How ITAM is a fundamental and foundational necessity to securing your IT environment;

    * Unique solutions to European Software Asset Management;

    * How to measure the success of an IT Asset Management program; and

    * An insider’s perspective on an Oracle audit.

    The keynote speaker will be Ann LaFrance, a partner with the London office of Squire Patton Boggs, where she is responsible for coordinating the firm’s Communications Law practice in the EMEA region and chairs the Global Data Privacy and Cybersecurity group. LaFrance will be speaking about the draft EU general data protection regulation and how it will affect IT Asset Management programs and organisations not just in the EU but around the globe.

    This keynote will provide attendees with the information to start planning for this major network and information security directive. Other major conference speakers will include Richard Pharro, CEO of APMG, and Steve Mellings, founder of the Asset Disposal & Information Security Alliance (ADISA).
