  Over the past year, the world has borne witness to a booming cybercrime economy and the rapid rise of cybercrime incidents. To date in 2021, Irish incidents of computer interference have increased by over 150% with similar levels of growth experienced in cyber enabled crimes such as online frauds and exploitation*.

  The cyberattack landscape is evolving as cybercriminals continue to innovate, become more professional and organised. Furthermore, the rise in remote working and hybrid working has given these criminals a new opportunity to expose vulnerabilities as many organisations struggle to adapt to a new way of working.
